Witty Children And DC Electric Motor Repair

DC electric motor repair is typically built for industrial gear such as generator turbines and so on, though the most fundamental principles are recognized to the home hobbyist and his or her electronics science kit.
Naturally, with regards to power plants and other large-scale applications, the quantitative difference becomes a qualitative one also.
Yet there is a lot about commercial DC electric motor repair which children with an interest in fixing broken toys, even strictly mechanical ones employing no electricity, will quickly grasp, the first of which regards the very meaning of an engine, the very physical attributes of a motor.

Today’s curious, scientifically minded child can easily almost comprehend about as much of electricity as the polymath Ben Franklin ever did.
Depending on the age, in most cases, they can rather adroitely indulge in a fit of DC electric motor repair somewhat in the way of a prodigious young Anakin Skywalker in the Stars Wars prequel “The Phantom Menace.”
From exotic gravity-defying vehicles to unbelievably intelligent robots, Anakin manages to repair them all.
While today’s youngsters are hardly so versatile, it’s arguable that they are commonly smarter somehow than their own parents were at similar ages.

So is that in reality the situation?
Has technology itself – its presence, its use – shaped our young in ways that render them somehow more intellectually able than we ourselves had been in youth?

It is not simple speculation, idle or otherwise.
Research into how modern tools has impacted children’s cognitive development makes headlines regularly with some startling recommendation or other.
Additionally, millions have been spent by private industry in the hope of gleaning some critical market insight that will bring about dramatically big income.
And, once more, it’s arguable that kids today are subtly smarter, at least in the sense of being savvier.

A Wealth of Online CPE Courses for Lawyers

So you want to be a lawyer. You realize it is going to mean a lot of studying, a lot of time used with books – but you like reading, and figuring things out, and you enjoy words, language, and all the semantic nuances required.

You even know that the LSAT test for admission to law school is tough, and something to pay hundreds or even thousands of dollars for, for special prep courses, coaching classes and the like. You also realize that law school itself will be tough as nails, at least throughout the all-too-crucial First Year.

Great. Maybe you even know that you will be forever hitting the books as a practicing lawyer, forever taking online CPE courses and their tests, one after the other, in order to maintain your ranking with the professional association governing your licensure.

Super.

But did you know it will be quite tough getting a high-enough-paying job as lawyer in order to pay back your student loans? In fact, those online CPE courses will cost some money, too.

Oh, you probably think you have got that covered. You’ll graduate at the top of your class, or you’ll be accepted into an Ivy League law school and graduate none too low in the ranks so as to get hired by a top corporate law firm and very easily recoup your investment in two to three years’ time.

And without a doubt, if such a thing does happen, your odds would be better than those for essentially the rest of your peers, even in this economy. But “better than” doesn’t mean “inherently good.” ’Cause you know what – globalization is coming to the legal profession also.

Yes, yes it’s true – outsourcing. Indeed, some of the online CPE courses available on the worldwide web were produced overseas! And though the legal profession has attempted to resist it (after all, it took a whole decade for everyone to change from WordPerfect to Microsoft Word!), it’s finally started to affect the industry.

MustHave Blu Ray Releases

Many Blu Ray releases are but the latest embodiment of the idea in the familiar French proverb that notes how “the more things change, the more they stay the same.” That’s because just as with the introduction of DVD a decade earlier, many releases failed to live up to what is possible with the Blu-ray format. Clearer images? Digital audio delivered across more than seven discrete channels, including the subwoofer? Not always, notwithstanding the 25 GB of storage available on conventional single-layer discs. Though much better than was the case with DVD, when VHS resolutions were just copied and pasted to disc, still too many a Blu-ray title seems rather like the DVD version!

The Boys Town Story

“Boys Town” and its sequel, “Men of Boys Town,” are movies loosely based on the famous real-life American charity of the same name. Established by a Catholic priest in 1917, it was an orphange that pioneered progressive methods of juvenile care. Thirteen Boys Town locations are now established throughout the country, with Father Flanagan’s original vision becoming a model worldwide. For almost a hundred years now its fundraisers have attracted the generous support, financial and otherwise, of businessmen, politicians, and prominent entertainers, people such as real estate developer Isaac Toussie and Mayor of Chicago Richard M. Dalely. Many local people from civic and religious organizations also turn out to volunteer as they are able to help Boys Town achieve its goals.

And so it is that a large part of the institution’s success must be due to the positive publicity garnered by the Boys Town films, movies which have made its mission of rescue such a part of American popular culture that passing reference is often employed as a kind of synecdoche or shorthand for orphanages in general. Starring industry leading men Spencer Tracy and Mickey Rooney in charismatic roles, these films are “feel-good” movies through and through, winning the Oscar for Best Actor and Best Original Story amidst a flood of nominations. The stories depicted had very little to do with any real-life events at the institution, however, being almost entirely fictional events that made much better for drama. Having said that, they do reflect typical problems encountered by those involved in juvenile care; for instance, the second movie even delved into the subject of reform school abuse and homelessness among the young. Yet onscreen or off, Boys Town works tirelessly on behalf of children and families, encouraged by Father Flanagan’s belief that there is no such thing as a bad boy, only a troubled one who need care.

Tax Continuing Education And Information

Tax continuing education is essential for accountants as tax laws change all the time and with every Republican victory at the polls comes a new set of corporate giveaways.
With a tax code that spans some sixty thousand pages, somebody’s got to keep an eye on it all!
And those somebodies have a lot on their plate.
Hence all the frequent keeping up with industry developments – particularly, changes in the tax code.

So chalk it up to the clever bean-counters at General Electric and their tax continuing education training for helping the company post its newest achievement in the annals of corproate notoriety: zero tax liability for the filing period ending in 2011.
That’s right: this year, one of the world’s richest multi-billion-dollar companies will pay
no taxes.
None whatsoever!
And that’s not all.
They may actually be owed some money instead!
That’s right – the government may truly have to pay G.E. some money.

How’s that for tax continuing education!

It’s amazing but all flawlessly true.
Through the imaginative use of loss write-offs and the like, the accounting department at G.E. has managed to save its employer lots of money, with the possibility of getting money “back” from Uncle Sam on top of that.
This is in addition to the use of unpaid labor throughout the business in the form of college interns, such as at its NBC subsidiary.

Of course, it isn’t just G.E. and NBC that’s benefiting from such unethical and even illegal practices.
Viacom and subsidiary Paramount Pictures also makes use of such loopholes.
Most corporations of a particular size do.
’80s boogeyman Leona “Queen of Mean” Helmsley was only telling the truth when she scoffed that “only little people pay taxes.”
Under the right conditions – which are not as rare as one might imagine at first – it is entirely doable to keep all the money you earn while making use of public services.

Of Wind Chimes Mark Trees and Pokémon

What can you do with wind chimes except hang them up somewhere?
Yet there are a very few musicians who are incorporating them into their very acts – live performances, actually.
That’s right – those things, made of stone, shell, wood, glass, or metal, used in actual music, as musical instruments in themselves.

What else could you do with wind chimes except hang them up somewhere?
Yet there are a small number of musicians who are incorporating them into their very acts – live performances, really.
That’s right – those things, created from stone, shell, wood, glass, or metal, used in actual music, as musical equipment in themselves.

Seems impossible, given their extremely limited acoustic abilities, to enable them to be much of a contributor, melodically or rhythmically, but some clever musicians have managed to work them into their performances.
Usually, they are used in modern music and used as percussion instruments.
The use of wind chimes in this way has long been quite varied, with David Sitek of the American rock band TV on the Radio hanging one at the end of his guitar to Oliver Messiaen using glass, wood, and seashell chimes in his opera about Saint Francis of Assisi.
Other composers using a wind chime in their works include Toshiro Mayuzumi, Giles Swayne, and Koji Kondo, who scores videogame soundtracks, which includes those for Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda!

Speaking of things Japanese, there is even a Pokemon according to wind chimes, called – what else? – Chimecho!
Actually, it’s popularly referred to as “the wind chime Pokemon” due to its light frame and power to produce a ringing, chiming cry.
This piercing sound can be amplified into ultrasonic shockwaves that knock back its foes.
Altogether, chimecho can make seven different tones to convey with other chimecho.

But to return to musical instruments: no discussion on the subject could be complete without mentioning that a percussion instrument does exist which is often mistaken for a wind chime but is really a mark tree.
The resemblance is pretty obvious, however, such that other names for it contain chime tree or bar chimes!

CPE Requirements And The Causes For Its Existance

CPE requirements of late (relatively speaking) has emphasized ethics more and more, especially for lawyers and accountants.
Generally, continuing professional education courses contain self-study, whether online or with the use of traditional materials like workbooks and the like.
Nonetheless, credits may also be gained through attending qualifying seminars, such as those well-liked talks given by those accountants, lawyers, and others guilty of so-called white-collar crimes.

Yes, listening to fraudsters and scammers may satisfy some CPE requirements, depending on the certifying body governing the career in each state!
Okay, so it’s quite an amusing thought, but then again, who else is there better qualified to instruct of such things than those with personal knowledge by virtue of their criminal activities?

Just about the most well-liked of such speakers is Sam Antar, the former Chief Financial Officer for Crazy Eddie’s, his cousin’s eponymous business in consumer electronics.
Rising from a lowly stockboy back when the company was a rather modest local neighborhood success, Sam Antar finished up very close to his cousin Eddie Antar as a result of his role as the expert enabler that greatly facilitated the organization’s widespread accounting fraud.
Given such an insider’s role, it’s easy to see why his lectures today can command credits that meet CPE requirements: after all, it takes one to know one!

Indeed, Sam Antar, while acknowledging the depth of his offenses, doesn’t flinch from the truth: he is only on the right side of the law today because he was caught.
Had the whole Crazy Eddie’s saga never collapsed due to greed and in-fighting among some of the principals required, Sam Antar might well be busy today enabling white-collar crime as he always had, not fighting it himself as he is in a sense forced to do on account of economic circumstances related to his now deadly work history and professional notoriety.

The Critically Constructed Online CPE Courses

When I was a personal fitness trainer, I wasn’t too delighted with the idea of a whole certification process just to be able to help people exercise.
But that was nothing compared to my shock that certification had to be maintained via online CPE courses as well!
Now needless to say the purpose of certification is to be publicly recognized as being skillfully competent, and given that things are constantly changing in our fast-paced modern world being competent naturally means some sort of continuing education.
My shock, however, stemmed from the common view of those outside the fitness industry that trainers are simply muscle-heads and nothing more.

Nonetheless, just because I was a muscle-head who happened to know a little bit about the human body doesn’t mean that everyone else involved in becoming personal trainers also do.
But more to the point and very much to my chagrin, it turned out that as much as I actually believed there was so very much, much, much, much, much more that I didn’t – never mind online CPE courses; I barely had the basics covered!

My newfound respect for education with regards to the fitness industry now means that I no longer laugh at online CPE courses for personal trainers.
It isn’t destined to be as hard as what lawyers, doctors, and accountants have to contend with, to be certain, but neither is it just a joke, either.
For sure it is mostly memorization of facts at this point, nothing so academically rigorous that any high school student would find it not familiar, but still – it’s a good step in the right direction for the industry as a whole and one which I now not only understand but in addition fully support myself.
My days as a trainer have ended but I have retained a lot of respect for continuing education for anyone.

Where Real Estate Law Is Concerned Its Diffrent Strokes in Alabama

It isn’t necessary to be an industry insider like Isaac Toussie to know that different jurisdictions can handle real estate matters differently. This is part of what makes real estate law so very interesting, after all – as well as quite a challenge to stay on top of! Take Alabama for an example. There, “buyer beware” is held in a very, very high regard by the courts, such that even in cases of outright fraud buyers may have no legal recourse anyway – since the property is recognized as being sold on an “as-is” basis. Yes, it’s true: Alabama case law believes in the ancient law of caveat emptor even more than any other on the books!!

A recent case determined that an as-is clause in the sales contract not superseded by another provision will be interpreted literally, or “as-is.” In this particular case, a pre-sale misrepresentation was made that was only found out (that is, proven false) post-sale. Normally, this would constitute fraud, but an Alabama court has ruled that as the as-is clause in the sales contract was not superseded by any other provision signed onto by both parties, the as-is clause will be interpreted literally!

This was a rather clear-cut situation as far as that particular court saw it, but the law itself in Alabama is actually not quite as simplistically draconian as the quick snapshot of the case provided here would suggest. Such strict interpretations of an as-is clause only apply to used property in the state, and not to new developments. Such as-is clauses are also superseded in cases where the misrepresentation is not obvious and potentially harmful to health and safety.

In this case, Teer v. Johnston, however, while the misrepresentation of flooding is indeed not something immediately obvious, it was not considered harmful to health and safety, constituting an inconvenient nuisance instead. What the buyer should have done was stipulating in the contract or the deed that pre-sale disclosures hold despite the sale!

The Effortless And Entertaining Online CPE Courses

Taking online CPE courses is more convenient than ever, but it’s still something that one would have to take seriously.
Those unfamiliar with continuing professional education may suppose that it’s just some type of fluff or they may think it’s like school all over again.
The truth is, however, somewhere in the middle.

Online CPE courses help make it even less like school, and for all the seriousness involved they could be almost fun.
A well-written course can help to make things seem less onerous – as anything obligatory frequently tends to be – but of course if one is an expert then one will do whatever must be done regardless of the fun factor!

Still, it’s pleasant to know that not all online CPE courses have to be as dull as traditional mail correspondence lessons were.
No need to make a chore even more of a chore, after all!
Hopefully, staying on top of advancements in one’s field, whether it be the law or medicine or any other profession, could be exciting enough in and of itself.

Frankly, if undergoing continuing education would be a issue, then there’s no reason to enter such occupations in the first place, no matter the prestige and the higher income.
(And, in the case of lawyers, the higher income is nowhere near as certain as for the other professions!)
These days, even personal fitness trainers are anticipated to take continuing education courses.
That’s right – those guys and gals at the gym!

Chalk it all up to an ever increasingly competitive job market, where credentials mean getting a foot in the door.
Of course, it is not just market pressures, as the scope of knowledge in a area like medicine is always improving with each new discovery.
However, while something like the law can be subject to constant change, it merely does not command the same kind of rates nowadays as it once did.
Law graduates have really gone on to file class-action lawsuits against their alma maters, putting those legal skills to the simply use they can find in this economy!
